Three ways to engage. Each one fixed in scope and price before we begin.
No T&M. No staff augmentation. No mystery line items. We agree on the work and the number, write them down, and stick to them.
Discovery
A scoped, paid investigation. The output is a one-page artefact that defines the project we would deliver — including the things we would refuse to.
Engagement
The build. Senior delivery, working against the Discovery scope. Weekly demos, fixed budget, and a written hand-over at the end.
Retainer
Ongoing capacity for clients we have already built with. Use it for new metrics, model evals, on-call review, or quietly turning the cloud bill down.
Pricing, with the awkward questions answered.
Why fixed-price and not T&M?
Because we sell outcomes, not hours. If we can't scope something tightly enough to fix the price, we don't know enough to do it well yet — and we say so.
What if the scope changes mid-engagement?
We sign a written change order with a delta on price and timeline. Either party can decline. We have never quietly absorbed scope, on either side.
Can you sub-contract or grow the team?
Only when the scope genuinely needs it. You meet the senior people responsible for delivery before we sign, and we name any specialist collaborators in the scope.
Do you do staff augmentation?
No. There are good firms that do; we are not one of them.
What about hosting / SaaS / model bills?
Pass-through at cost, billed monthly with the actual provider invoice attached. We don't mark up infrastructure.
What about IP?
Yours, on payment. We retain a non-exclusive right to reference the engagement in casework, with your written approval on any specifics.
Above the
threshold,
everything
becomes signal.
30-minute scoping call, no decks. We'll tell you whether ReluFX is the right fit for the work — and who is, if not.
